High in the hills overlooking downtown Los Angeles stands the iconic Griffith Observatory. Their staff approached Elite Screens in need of an outdoor projection screen that handles easy and can be stretched between an improvised framework of their design. The Elite Screens team was proud to see their product front-and-center for and event thousands of stargazers gathered to behold. The orbits of Earth and Mars would bring the two planets very close to one another by a distance of 35.8 million miles; pretty close in planetary terms. The atmosphere was festive and many thronged for a good view as the observatory’s main telescope fed its image through to a projector standing before Elite’s massive 236†outdoor projection screen.
