Microsoft Unboxed: Technology in Sports (Ep. 3)


In the third episode of Microsoft Unboxed, Sonia and Colleen discuss the intersection of technology and sports. First, they explore a workshop run by Microsoft and local WNBA team Seattle Storm, focused on teaching kids STEM skills and life lessons through basketball. Next, they dive into the Power Bat, a cricket bat infused with IoT sensors, and how Anil Kumble, a former player and current Spektacom technologist, is partnering with Microsoft to investigate how data can improve player and fan experiences.
